Storm Debris Collection

Good Afternoon Property Managers,

Your Office of Neighborhood Relations wanted to share information regarding storm debris collection in Hillsborough County. Collection trucks will be working systematically throughout unincorporated Hillsborough County neighborhoods to collect vegetative yard debris related to Hurricane Irma. Storm debris is being collected by a special contractor in conjunction with the routine weekly yard waste collections provided by your normal service provider.

We have added clarifying information on the County’s yard debris webpage to help ensure residents understand the storm debris collection schedule and how to properly prepare their debris for collection from the ROW.  The most recent information is available at:http://hcflgov.net/en/newsroom/2017/09/19/residential-yard-debris-collection-for-hurricane-irma

Storm debris will be picked up in gated communities and on private streets.  The county is working on the required forms prior to contractors accessing the private communities and streets.

Please continue to monitor the county’s webpage and Neighborhood Relations notifications for further updates.

Respectfully,

Wanda L. Sloan
